On the 4th December 2012, brethren from St Laurence Lodge travelled to the Colchester Masonic Hall where Claudius Lodge No 8700 kindly raised one of our members. The officers of Claudius carried out the ceremony in a superb manner assisted by a number of officers from St Laurence who explained the working tools and the traditional history; and also delivered the walking charge. The meeting was hailed as a huge success and brethren later dined in perfect harmony at the festive board, enjoying the company of new friends and the convivial atmosphere.
