On this day, Stisted Hall held a pre Christmas celebration for the residents, families and friends of the home.
The day included raffles, tea and cakes, a Santa’s Grotto, bric-a-brac tables and of course singing with the Stisted Hall Choir. The choir consisted of residents, staff and anyone else who wanted to join in and it actually didn’t sound half bad! It was led by a brilliant entertainer who played the keyboard and guitar; and also led the singing. See him and all the others who took part in the video below but first a few photos.
This cake will be raffled at our January meeting. It is currently being stored in perfect condition using modern sub zero temperature technology (it’s in the freezer).
And finally, you might like to try to identify the type of column spotted at Stisted Hall and shown in the photo below. Clue – it’s not Tuscan, Doric, Corinthian or Composite.
