Twelve brethren and guests from St Laurence Lodge attended the annual meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge.
At the meeting, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Essex honoured three of our brethren by conferring upon them the ranks of PPSGD, PPAGDC and ProvGStwd.
Two Assistant Provincial Grand Masters, W Bro Cliff Thoms and W Bro Alan Everard retired as Assistant Provincial Grand Masters and W Bro Robert Whittingham and W Bro Peter Hammond were invested as new APGMs.
The Provincial Grand Lodge meeting was a complete success and the PGM conducted it in his usual inimitable style with great aplomb.
After the meeting the brethren retired to the adjacent Connaught Rooms for the festive board where they dined in harmony with their friends and brothers.
