St Laurence Ten Pin Bowling Team made their debut as a major competitor at the Chelmsford TenPin bowling alley on the 3rd April 2014.
Amazingly, none of the team was snapped up by talent scouts even though Bros Kevin and Peter scored well over 100 in each of their games! Allegedly, professional players’ scores are closer to 300 but that is very hard to believe as through our personal experience we found that no matter how hard the ball was thrown it refused to knock down many pins.
Still, a good time was had by all and the evening was made more enjoyable by the company of many new friends who were thinking of joining the lodge, at least one of whom had obviously played before (he has the biggest smile).
