Abbots Hall Lodge No 6205 welcomed brethren from St Laurence to their meeting at the Masonic Hall in Upminster on the 15th September 2015.
They raised our Bro Dane to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in a superb ceremony during which all the officers performed to a very high standard indeed. The Master of the Lodge carried out the first part of the ceremony in a most capable manner and the traditional history was given by W Bro Frank Sharp to the pleasure of the brethren.
Eleven brethren from St Laurence attended the meeting to support Dane, several of whom assisted during the ceremony. W Bro David West acted as Senior Warden, Bro David Crow acted as Senior Deacon while Dane was questioned and entrusted, W Bro Ken Cownden presented the Working Tools and W Bro Len West delivered the Walking Charge.
After the ceremony a very informative presentation of a Grand Lodge Certificate was made by W Bro John Helliar, an Honorary member of the lodge, and the brethren later dined in perfect harmony at the festive board.
