At this last St Laurence meeting of the year, Bro Jas Bassan was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.
W Bro Graham Mackenzie carried out the first part of the ceremony and W Bro Ken Cownden delivered the Traditional History, both in a most competent manner and much enjoyed by the brethren.
A Grand Lodge Certificate was presented to Bro David Bradley by W Bro John Stonely PAGDC in his usual inimitable style and the lodge was closed by the Master of the Lodge, W Bro Peter Wilks, in perfect harmony.
After the meeting the brethren retired to the bar for a drink before entering the dining room for an early Christmas dinner.
